Our station is located just a few meters from the sea in the “Villaggio Nettuno” campsite in Nerano, which is situated south of Naples on the Amalfi Coast in Italy, and is famous for its incredibly beautiful landscape. The Mediterranean maquis of the steep coastal slopes captivates with its fragrant sclerophyll plants while the sea shows unusually rich treasures of underwater flora and fauna.

UNIMARE offers school classes and other groups the opportunity to get to know the ocean habitat through marine biology courses and experiences that allow for many unforgettable memories. Thanks to our many years of experience in the field of didactic marine biology, UNIMARE can guarantee the highest scientific knowledge and maximum safety during excursions in the water.
